I have a USB flash drive partitioned into several partitions, all FAT32. With Linux, all are accessible. With Windows XP, only the first of those partitions appears as a drive.
I looked at the XP Disk management utility (Administrative Tools -> Computer Management -> Disk management). There, all the partitions are shown, and all are shown as 'Healthy', but only the first is detected as a FAT32 partition.
When I click 'properties' for any of the undetected partitions, nothing happens. When I click 'Format', I get this message: 'The operation did not complete because the partition or volume is not enabled. To enable the partition or volume, restart computer.
Why is this happening? How can I make windows XP detect the other partitions on the drive?
