Hi, guys I was hoping you could help me out with this quasi mystery.
When I first setup my DLink router, it was over a year ago and since then I have changed hard drives on my main computer which required reinstalling everything. Everything seemed to work just fine with the new setup. As long as I was surfing, all was good. Recently, I've found a need to free up some ports that the router is blocking and I tried to go to the "internet" access screen. I do this by typing in 192.168.0.1 in my browser and the setup screen should pop up. Unfortunately, its not. Whats happening is that as soon as I click enter, the title of the page pops up (saying something about DLink DI-704P) so I know im connecting. But its not fully loading up. I can sit there and wait forever and the page will just eventually give up. I've tried with my main browser, Opera, and I've tried with IE. Both do basically the same thing. Strangely enough, whenever I try this, all internet access stops for a bit as well.
Does anyone have any ideas? Is there some protocol I need to install that I did the first time around and forgot about this time? I followed Dlink's tech support FAQ for fixing this problem and it did nothing.
Thanks for any help.
Mark
