hey guys,
I'm having a serious problem with my harddrive.
I can't access one NTFS partition in Windows XP. I can access the other partitions on that hard-drive, not just that one!
When I try accessing thru My Computer in Windows, I get the following error: "I:\ is not accessible. The Disk structure is corrupted and unreadable"
I tried rebooting the machine, and when chkdsk runs before Windows starts up, it said that I:\ had an invalid master file table (or something like that). And the Disk Defragmenter doesn't even recognize the parittion anymore!!
But teh Disk management component in Control Panel says the disk is healthy!
I'd really like to restore the data of this drive (and try fixing it), as its all photos that I've taken. There's only about 2GB of data on that partition, and its all photos.
Thanks!
