When I type the web address of my Belkin router and hit login, it takes me here:
C:\WINDOWS\Temporary Internet Files\Content.IE5\Y3KX4M0K\login[1].htm

Why can't I access my router?

Is there any trick to resetting the router?

I pushed the reset button, waited for the light to stop flashing and re-booted.

Still can't log into utility menu.

Are you on the right subnet?

For example, if the router has the IP 192.168.1.1 and you have an IP address of 192.168.0.XXX then you aren't going to be able to access it.

Have you tried pinging the IP address of it also?

The IP address is autmatically assigned. Haven't tried pinging the router. How do you do that again?

Don't know that it matters but it's a wireless router.

Yes, the router works.

I tried unplugging it an plugging it back in.

I haven't tried another browser.

Thsi is strange because I've never had a problem acessing the router before.

Are you sure your accessing it through the right IP? your using your default gateway from the DHCP stuff right? (ipconfig for winnt/2k/xp, winipcfg for win9x/me, ifconfig for *nix)

Yes, go to a command prompt and type ipconfig /all

Look at your gateway IP addy.
That is the one you should be putting into your broswer to access te HTML setup page.

Figured out the problem - I'm using Proxomitron. Once I disabled the proxy server I was able to access the set up menu.
