Can't Access Drive in Vista

I'm not quite sure what the problem is here. I'm using Vista x64 and I can't access a SATA drive of mine. I've got four drives currently hooked up and I have no issues accessing the other ones. The thing is, if I log in as Admin or, in my local acct, if I run a cmd prompt as Admin I can access the files on disc. If I just try and access it via explorer it just says "I:\ is not accessible. Access is denied." I tried giving ownership and full access to the Admin class (which I'm a part of, of course) and still no dice. I now no problems accessing the drive in XP or Linux either.

You said you gave ownership/full access to the admin class, which you're a part of, but you make a distinction between logging in as admin or your local account.

It sounds to me like your local account is not part of the admin class. What type account is it, an administration account or a standard account? If it's a standard account, it won't be in the admin group, will it?

Why not assign ownership and/or at least full access to the users group? That should allow your standard account to access your disk.
