Can't access Control Panel->Display...

I'm running Windows 98se with an athlon 1.4 and geforce 2 pro. Yesterday when I booted up I got the blue screen-- upon restart everything seemed fine except the resolution was set very very low. When I try to go in and change it back, it wont allow me. Right click on desktop, properties... nothing happens. Control panel->display... nothing happens. Anyone have any suggestions?? Thanks for your help.

I would first try to reseat the video card and reinstall the drivers. How much ram are you running? I would also recommend upgrading to windows 2k, 98se is alright but thats about it. I've had my 2k box up 98 days 24/7 without a reboot.
