cant access a folder

my desktop blew up for i took my hard drive my desktop and put in it the usb hard drive enclosure to use it still. with my laptop.

now when i try to goto my documents and what not is says my name is unaccessable.

i figure this is becuase it was password protected..had to login as xp user and stuff on my desktop.

is there a way to get into this flolder now? i need to get information from it to put onto my laptop now that i use.

Your files might be corrupted

You need to take ownership of that folder.

yeah... forgot how to do it, but it was a PITA last time around.
