Can't access 20 Data backup DVD's

Hi all, I have approx. 20 dvd's of backup data I did about 2 years ago. Thing is I cannot access the data, it seems to be in a hidden track or session. The discs are showing as 2-4 gig full each, so I know they are burned. I forgot which program I used to back them up. I tried stomp and nero but those aren't it. There is only 1 file showing on each disc, README.TXT in this file it states:

===========
Backup CD
===========

This disc is a backup CD.

Except for this file the contents of this disc must be
accessed using your backup software.

Please tell me someone knows what program this is for. I cannot access the data and I need it since the old drive crashed. I tried ISObuster and it shows a 4 gig track on each disc. Please help!

I'm 99% sure that's Stomp's Backup MyPC. Either that or NTI's BackupNow. Those are the only two CD/DVD backup apps my clients use and I've seen that very same README file on one of them. Pretty sure it's Stomp's.

No I tried both. Stomp only restores that "readme.txt" file, it doesnt see anything else. NTI only looks for a .nbf file. I can't believe this, i have all these discs with hidden data! Someone help!

while I cnat help you, let this be a lesson learned to everyone that backed up data without proper recovery procedures is useless. Not to mention periodic testing of the backed up data for integrity.

Good luck HFS1980!

Can you try a hex editor or a boot sector editor to see if you can pick up a ver/name of a product.
May take some time, but how much is the data worth to you?
