Canon's Camera Window software

I received a Canon Powershot A620 for Christmas, and I just got around to installing the software package (v26.0). Those of you familiar with it know it comes with quite a few programs, one of them is Camera Window. This is the program used to transfer the pictures to the computer. It doesn't load on my computer though. When I double click it, an hour glass blinks on my cursor for a fraction of a second, and nothing happens. All the other Canon programs work, why not Camera Window?

I realize I can transfer the pics to my computer through explorer, which is probably easier/faster anyway, but I was hoping for the whole integration thing, not to mention I can rotate the pictures on the fly as I import them if I was able to use Camera Window.

Any ideas?

maybe you need to reinstall?

I have a Canon Digital Rebel XT. the ONLY reason i have the software on my computer, is so i can deal with the RAW photos, but otherwise I have found canon software to be completely and utterly useless.

I've tried reinstalling. I guess I'll just uninstall all of it, because as you said it's not like it has any features I don't already have elsewhere. I've got Photoshop CS2, that can do more than the Canon software by a long shot.

How do you deal with sideways pictures? I've been rotating them in explorer with the filmstrip view. Any better way?
