Canon to Pentax Lens Adapter.....

Ok I recently bought a Canon A60 digital camera, and I was looking for lenses for it. My mother however has some Pentax 35mm Film Camera Lenses that are Really nice so I would like to make them work if possible.

I know I would need the Conversion Lens Adapter , but is there an adapter that I can put on top of that, that would allow me to use the Pentax lens?

This is the conversion lens adapter....

This is the pentax Lens connection

I saw an adapter for canon 35mm film cameras to this pentax, so I know they make that but idk if they make if for the digital.....

I know this will be a third party part also if its made.

Thanks,
Josh

I wasent sure either..... It was worth a shot to ask. I really dont want to buy a Canon 2x Telephoto Lens for $150...........

Are there decent Third Party lenses? Or are the Canon lenses the only decent ones.

Indeed. It just doesen't work like that.

The lenses that fit the adapter just screw on. I can't really figure out how that Pentax lens attaches, but it sure as hell isn't by threads.

There are loads and loads of 3rd party adapter lenses for point and shoot digicams on eBay. I've been wanting to pick up a set myself.

Some are quite cheap, but remember that you get what you pay, in general, when it comes to glass.

Yea the Pentax lens twists on and locks. I doubted that it would work.

I would get the third party lenses but I hate to throw away 50-75 $. If I knew it was decent I would buy them. Like I got to try out the canon lens today at Wolf Camera but I couldnt see paying $150 for the Adapter/Lens to get only 2x more zoom.
