Any idea if this will work for the new S230? I'm assuming it would... but maybe there is a better one out there for the 230 specifically.

I use this case for my s110 and it works great. Because the s110 is smaller then the s300 there is a bit more room. But that is OK.

i have the s200 and was looking into these cases.
it looks like Ebay has a bunch of s200/230 cases for $7.85 + $4.00 shipping.

what's the difference between the two cases? i don't really know. i assume the s200 one is a bit smaller, making the camera fit a bit more snug.
is it worth the $2.90 extra?

i'll prolly go for the gateway s300 case unless someone says otherwise.

what is the material that the s300 case is made out of anyways?

i have the s100/110 gray case that buy.com was selling. i think it was 9 plus shipping. has a nice front pocket on it too. it's 12 shipped (+tax) for me to california.

get it here

i use it for my s200 and love it.

i got the case back in april from buy.com and it is really nice.. barely the size of my s330 with a neat little pocket for extra flash cards, with a nice rope for around your wrist.. and the fabric is nice and velvety..
very good purchase highly recommended for anyone with a slim canon.

i recieved my case and was surprised that it was a dark blue color rather than black, other than that, i'm happy with it.

i was thinking of the same thing...but its better...black seems kinda dull..:)

wow!!!! i ordered TUESDAY NIGHT and it just got here -- THURSDAY MORNING! hows that for free shipping? it shipped from FT WORTH, TX to austin, tx --about 250 miles away


great case...fits the cam like a GLOVE..definately neat


i would have preferred if it had a belt clip (for quick detachment) instead of belt loop thingy but is all good

hee hee...belt clip might be nice...but if you think about it...you don't want to carry two things in your hands do you? the purpose of the carrying case is so that you can put the camera away and take it out to use without ease...not to unbuckle the case...then take out the camera and then take the picture...

Great case, get one if you have a S300 or S330. Not sure if the S100 will fit because it's snug on my S300.


I put an extra 128mb CF card and battery in the front pocket...fits great.


Also, I orginally didn't like having the belt-loop instead of a belt-clip, but I prefer the peace of mind a loop gives. A belt clip will/might pop-off if you're running, or bending at the hips (like squatting or climbing).


My $.02

Edit: You might want to check Page Computers for the Waterproof items. I used kewords like "Waterproof" or "P300 case". The Waterproof cases are cheaper including shipping to Seattle, Wa area.

the s300 and the s330 is a little different...
they use difference case...according to the accessory page at canon website...
