Anyone done a side by side comparo of these two?
I'm looking for a compact P&S as a gift. It doesn't have to be "club" small(like the fuji z1), particularly if that size it at the expense of image quality. I haven't actually narrowed it to these two, but it looks like these 2 are the best choices out of Canon's lineup.
Fuji f10 will be competing as well - it offers 7MP vs 5MP, excellent low-light sensitivity and excellent battery life, but doesn't have optical viewfinder, and reports seem to indicate the auto-exposure on the canons is better.
I know these threads usually go nowhere, particularly if they are a general "I need a P&S camera for <$300", so I don't need that link to the sony at sears 😉 .. just wondering if anyone has had experience with the 3 I mentioned.
