Why would you need 60fps? 30fps should be fine. Movies are only 24, i think.

60FPS at 320x240? I'll pass. I'd much rather have 30FPS at 640x480.

Passions, you don't get the purple fringing with your SD300 that everyone talks about (w/ SD300/400/500)?

if you want movies get a video camera
Anubis, when I was looking for a camera, I specifically looked at each camera's video capabilities. Why? Because I wanted a Digital Camera for still shots, and a Video camera for movies, but I didn't want to pay for both or have to carry 2 things with me all the time. The SD300 is no Digital SLR, but it does a great job for casual shots, and does a great job for those videos. It is small enough to stick in my pocket to take anywhere I want. The best of both worlds .

I was thinking of getting an SD300/400/500 but waited when I saw this - Specific Image Quality Issues. Also look in the dpreview forums.
