I want an ultracompact digital camera and I was looking at the Canon SD110 and Nikon 3700. The Canon is available for 250 + 50GC at Amazon, and the Nikon is available for around 180 after rebate. I was all set to buy the Nikon but I heard about the ISO at night and resulting graininess. So then I set off to buy the SD110 but I hear it has fuzzy pictures, and the samples on pbase seem to confirm this. I also have $75 worth of amazon gift certs from the amazon credit card, which would bring the two cameras about even in price.
Which one of these should I get? I really can't choose. Or should I just bite the bullet and get the Canon 410? I'm not sure if all of this is worth the extra 100 bucks. I had the Canon S30 before and I used it as a point-and-shoot probably >95% of the time.
