I have a Canon CanoScan N670U that just died on me. I started my computer running XP Home SP2 and the scanner didn?t even initialize on startup. I unplugged the USB cable and when plugged back in, error message something like USB device Unrecognized. I reloaded the updated drivers but like I said the scanner does not even initialize on startup. I also changed out the USB cable and no success. I even tried on my laptop and got the same message. Up to this point the scanner worked fine and no new programs have been installed.

Any Ideas and any help is appreciated.
