haha you people must be kidding, there is no way the SD series takes better pix than a S70. My friend has a SD500, I used to have a S200 and now I have a Panasonic Lumix FX7. The lense on these cameras are just too small, my dad has a S70 and used to have a C3000, both take better pix than any of the small pocket size camreas.

Check out the canon S1/S2 IS cameras. I think those might fit what you want.

The S70 is huge like a brick! Get the SD300 instead.. way better and more compact.

The Canon SD-series cameras do not have manual controls, making them close to worthless for someone who wants control over their photos. I think the S70 is good. The G6 is smaller than the G5 so maybe it isn't so big anymore.

Well after some debating looks like I will be getting the Canon Rebel XT. From the reviews it doesnt seem like its that big and it takes awesome pictures.
