Canon S5 IS video question

Can you use its optical zoom in video mode? I read from reviews that the G9 disable zoom feature in video mode, but I can't seem to find anything affirmative about the S5.

I mentioned this elsewhere (I have the S3) the video quality is phenomenal on these particular cameras... when running full 640x480@30 fps, the image is on par with my Digital8 footage. You can use the zoom while filming, but be careful, the microphone will pick up the noise of the motor, if you do it too quick (of course, you can also lower the sensitivity of the stereo microphones!)
