The ship dates aren't very accurate - I ordered the 3rd week of April, and my shipdate was "on or before June 6th"... it shipped May 3rd. According to UPS tracking, it's out for delivery today. Must... have... camera... AAAAAAARRRGG! OK I'm all better now.

was july 10th. btw, i ordered the canon s200...now to get some CF memory, 128 megs, any recommendations ?

If you plan to take a lot of pictures at the highest quality, you can fit over 100 on the 128Meg CF mem.

If anyone is interested in ordering some mem or any other accessories, like a battery or case.
email sales@ddlconsulting.com they have good prices on all that stuff. I ordered the new LH battery, it was cheaper
than most of the other places online, and in stock as well.

my original ship date was july 10 and it has already been shipped to me!!!!!
now, how am i going to explain all these damn boxes in my room:

1. 2 dell 120 gb drives
2. 2 audiovox maestros
3. one lego vision camera set
4. staples visoneer scanner
5. microsoft action pack
and now
6. a canon digital camera.

Has anyone else received their orders if they ordered maybe 2 or 3 days ago?

I ordered around 10am Monday or Tuesday i think (6th or 7th)

received the order confirmation saying delayed until 7/12/2002 just yesterday (9th)

and today 10th, there's no sign of tracking numbers or anything.

I'm just wondering ifdell's still been sending s200's to anyone who ordered within this week.

i ordered around when you did...i got it shipped overnight. However I received the camera before dell gave me a tracking number or anything. So don't worry about it esp if you did ground shipping

Ordered mine tuesday, shipped wednesday. Recieved shipping confirmation that noted it was shipped ground, not 2 day air like i selected (and it clearly states that on my recipt). Grrr, so four more days to wait due to the poor business practices of the scam artists known as dell. Never agian (at least until the next good dell deal comes along )

will the battery for the S110 be compatable with the S200, since both cams are the same size and similar in specs.

Yes, the batteries are interchangable. The S110 ships with a less powerful battery, however.

I have an S110, S330 and S200 sitting in front of me now. I can't say the S200 is really an improvement over the S110. I can't decide which one is the better cam...
