Canon S100/110/200/300/330 owners (or any expert camera ppl) - 2 questions

I have an S110, but it's basically the same as the 100 and 300 series.

1. I've noticed the camera is not that good for motion shots (or at least my settings are not configured properly for it).
They usually come out blurry (the object that I'm focusing on is the one in motion).
How do I fix this?

2. How do I take shots like this.
i.e. the ones where it looks like the camera's been left on for several hours and the star is stretched across the sky. i think it's called long exposure?

TIA 😀

you don't. you don't have the shutter priority needed.

as for motion shots... those require a really quick shutter speed, something that your f-stop probably doesn't allow even wide open under anything but the brightest light.
