Dell home has a good deal on the Canon Digital Rebel XT. You can use two coupons (stackable), one for 20% off (check your favorite deals site) and another for $35 off $300 (available on ebay for $1). Canon is also offering a $100 rebate.

Rebel XT (Body only) $799 - $160 - $35 - $100 rebate = $504.

Rebel XT w/Kit Lens $899 - $180- $35 - $100 rebate = $584.

My shipping came to $8 for the camera body only.

Thanks for posting this. I have an XT, and my close friend wants to buy a DSLR too...and I've been convincing her to go with Canon because I already have some lens and accessories so we could just share. And this price may just convince her.

Ya this is an excellent price for this camera. If i already didn't have a Nikon D50 on the way i might look at this also. I think i will be pretty happy with the N50 though.
