Canon Powershot A510?

I've got a BB gift card and I'm going to pick up a new digital camera tomorrow, I was looking specifically at the Canon Powershot A510. I've heard this is comparable to the A75 which I've heard is great, anyone have one of these though with examples of pictures taken with it? Thanks 🙂

Canon makes great cameras. While I have no personal experience with the A510, but my brother has the EOS100 digital rebel, and I had the powershot a75, which was a great camera. I liked it alot.

As long as it meets your criteria (mp rating, video modes, zoom etc), i don't see how it would be a bad purchase.

The A series is terrific from A10 to the current A510 and everything in between. I'm thinking about upgrading my A20 to the A95.

I wonder what's taking steve's digicams to come up w/ a A510 review, they're usually real quick about new digicams.

I just called the Officemax near here and they said the only Canon camera they had on sale was the a75. is there any printed ad that I might be able to take to circuit city to pricematch? i didn't see the a510 included in their sunday ad.

You have to look at the add. It has the sku for the A75 listed, then right beside it, it has the sku for the A510 listed as a substitute.

It you call OfficeMax's 1800 number, you can order it by phone with the sku number and tell them you're ordering from the weekly sales flier.

Just read the FW thread I linked, all the info is there 😀

hey since they are out of stock, it looks like a few people on FW have gotten them to sub the A85 for it. I'm not sure where to go, Best Buy is 60 miles one direction and Officemax is 60 miles the other direction. It would be sweet if I could get the A85 in place of it though 🙂
