You know there is a little chip inside that sends all your pictures to Canon when you hook it up to your computer dont you?
 
Good choice, best bang for your buck 3MP digicam out there with a nice balance of manual and auto features.

I consider it sort of a poor man's G3. ie.. they can do almost the same (except G3 has a bit more features) but A70 does it to a lesser degree.
 
the money is important, but i dont want something that will be bad in a year...already have a S200 and love it, just want more pixels and more features.

I think the ideal for someone that likes taking pictures is having an S200 to fit in the pocket to have wherever you go and a nice nice main camera. Like a G3 or something.
