EPSON Stylus Photo R310 vs Canon Pixma IP5000

Can someone bring me to light??? Its a tough call.

Epson 6 color printer (5 colors, 1 black)
Canon 5 color printer (3 colors, 1 black, 1 pigment black)

I don't know about the IP5000, but I personally find the performance of the IP3000 to be inferior to the i560 that it replaced, having owned both before. The IP3000 is slower, noisier, and produces worse printouts in either standard or draft mode than the i560. In fact, the draft mode is so light it's barely legible. It does however have the convenience of duplex printing, but takes a long time for that.

All in all still a decent printer though, just that it doesn't live up to one that it replaces. I'd check out the older i860 if I were you.
