The rumored price for the 7D, according to a post on Canonrumors a few days back from a Best Buy inventory leak, is like $2700. That's way too much for me. I'm looking for a 50D replacement, priced around $1500, give or take a bit.

apparently, bb inventory reported the wrong prices for the powershots that were released the other day

i was pleasantly surprised that mp queen canon actually bumped down the mp count significantly on any new camera

Weren't the initial bb inventory prices lower than they ended up being though? :-/

for the G11 and S90 the rumor overshot:

G11 : 599 : 499
S90 : 499 : 430 (the controls look killer, if i didn't already have an LX3 i'd give serious thought to this)

for the SX-A and SX-B, if those refer to the SX20IS and SX120IS the prices were right on (399 and 249) (i thought they killed that bar of soap body when they came out with the SX200?)
