Hi this may seem like a silly question but I am having trouble making copies. What I mean is, while I'm able to make them, no matter what setting I change each copy I make has a black background as oppose to white. The image I want to copy is centered as it should be, but the rest of the sheet is filled with black ink surrounding it all. Usually with copiers the background remains white and that's what I'm trying to figure out how I can make that possible. I've tried the 'black' and 'color' buttons, along with the 'frame erase' and 'border less' options etc, and still no luck. If you anyone could be of help I'd really appreciate it.

Do you have the latest drivers for your system from Canon? Good place to start, I have no issues on my mx310 drivers with Vista 64bit, which I downloaded from Canon.
