Canon Multipass C5500 Error Help

Okay...I've tried tech support...no help, and I can't figure it out. My Canon Mulitpass is telling me to put in the cartridge, but it is in...hehe, should I scrap it? Or do any of you have any ideas.

Well one thing that I can suggest is to reinstall the printer software and drivers. I say this because with some of the HP printers we had at school, even after changing the Catridge it would say that it is either not installed properly. I have heard that all that is missing is some kind of log file that the software keeps saying that the catridge has been change. This printers would even print corretly after hitting ok. So we reinstalled the software and that fixes the missing log file and it never bothered us again

Hope this helps

Okay...I'll try that, but I never changed it in the first place. I was just sitting here, and the little alarm light started flashing, and the lcd readout said put in cartridge. Thanx...

Like I said that fixed this problem for HP Printes. Thought maybe it would help you. Hope it does.
