I'm planning on going to Staples and pricematching to Officemax. They should give me the $249.98 out the door price right? Actually it would be $244.98 as they have a 110% pricematch guarantee. Then send the MIR and the price would come down to $194.98 which is pretty hot.

Would Staples do this or will they say the MIR negates the pricematch option?

Ahhh... I pulled it off. Maybe it was nothing special but it worked out just fine. After tax and $54.95 pricematch it came out to about $250 and a $50 ez rebate at Staples, I ended up $200 down for a sweet $300 multi fax/data/printer/scanner. I've ditched HP and Epson completely now, my third recent Canon printer purchase and I'm totally sold on Canon printers now... this thing is fantastic.

Now do I go with swiftink or 123inkjets for extra ink?
