Looks to be exactly the same thing as the well regarded MP 730 except it has no fax.

Anyone have one of these things? How's the print/scan quality?

The cost per page on the Ink makes either one a great choice, and the photo quality is as good as any 4-ink print out there. Too bad canon canceled their EPP 🙁.

I'm satisfied with the results

It's said the MP730 uses the same engine as that of the Canon i850 photo printer FWIW. As for scanning, it gets the job done.
 
I have the MP730 and its great. love the autofeeder. no complaints about the scanning or copying. its a great buy
