I think the $3300 price tag on the 5d is a little steep. No lens conversion is a plus. The higher resolution comes at a price ? lower FPS ( 3 a sec. instead of 5 a sec. ) in burst mode. A lot of the menu features are the same as the 20d with a little more convenience settings on the 5d. Those who want to upgrade from the Digital Rebel will probably need some new lenses if they bought EF-S lenses as these don't work on the 5d. The larger 2.5" LCD is an improvement but it is moot for me since I can use my PDA's 3.8" 640x480 LCD to view shots. I would probably upgrade from my 20d to the 5d if the price was in the $2200 range only to get rid of the lens conversion factor.

I might have to jump with you. Although my A40 is still hanging in there. (I kind of wish it would die :Q)
