Yeah yeah...wrong forum. But i've been trying to figure this out for an hour or so. I can't seem to find any help, and nothing I've been trying to do helps.

Black text (or anything that is black) is printing out as white. Yes i have a full black ink cartridge. yes i've tried cleaning the nozzle heads. If i change the color to white in my text document, it still prints out white. Anyone have any thoughts or had this problem.

HELP. I'm extremely frustrated.

the test page comes out with the windows logo and the rest is blank. No text shows.

No it is not under warranty i do not believe. It isn't my printer.

Stupid things to try...

Have you just installed an ink tank? Make sure the tape is off the bottom of the ink tank.
Are you using the correct paper type in the settings?
Are you using the correct drivers?
Does this happen with anything you try to print, or just certain documents?
Have you tried to un and re install the printer?

I have a canon i90 and thought I had seen all of their problems, but I have never seen this one!

maybe your black ink is all dry out inside, and looks like it's full, but all dried up?

I've tried two cartridges of black...both appear to be full. On one of the head alignment tests, black boxes print out...but the black doesn't seem to work on anything else.

Sounds like a clogged head. I had my black stop printing after not using the printer for awhile (3-4 months). It's my understanding the black is used only for text printing and images uses all colours mixed to produce blacks.

I've tried doing the "deep nozzle cleaning" for the black ink twice now...and it still doesn't work. I guess I'll have my manager order a new cartridge and hope that is the problem. Thanks for the help everyone.
