I am considering to buy value printer namely Canon i-320. Its specification looks fine as well as good price and maintanance cost. One cause of hesitation exists what is it is it doesn't support for Unix-like operating systems. I inspected supported hardware list on http://ghostscript.com and asked Canon's customer services but it seems no statements saying yes but saying sorrily no. If there is anyone has printed successfully with i-320 under Unix-like operating systems, please consult me rather briefly how you were done, please? Probably there IS some method to do it!! arrrg!!

I'm sort of the maintainer of gimp-print's Canon driver effort. With Canon not providing any information to free software projects, your only resort so far is to use the commercial "TurboPrint" effort. gimp-print Canon support is creeping forward, but we're still several generations behind in reverse engineering how these printers work.

Thank you for reply peter. Your answer is clear but I have one more question :)
...your only resort so far is to use the commercial "TurboPrint" effort.
would you like to provide me where I can get information about "TurboPrint"? It would be okay to me if it requires expenses...
