Do any of you think any of the retail stores (frys, office depot/max, compua, bestbuys) will still carry it?

I'm looking for a low end prosumer camera, and the canon g3, camedia 4040, and fujifilm 6900 are all overkill for me. Do you think those stores will carry it at a discounted price since its discontinued?

B&H Photo still has the camera on sale for $479, or $399 used. You could probably get it cheaper on eBay, though.

You got the right idea, but I don't think it will happen. $415.00 shipped without being used or grey market is the best I've seen.

For $400 you could get the camera + a fair selection of lenses/filters/tripod/etc.

I ordered a G2 from Dell for 363 until they cancelled my order and now claim I cancelled it and won't reinstate it because they are out of stock. :|

Cross your fingers and see what Sears can do for you if you want to get Prosumer at budget prices. Here's some tips.
