Well - not according to camera reviewers. A true "prosumer" camera should have removable/changeable lenses. I see the G series as a high end consumer product - 🙂 Yeah - we're nit picking. 🙂 I moved to the D60 after losing many good wildlife shots - the CCD sensor cameras just don't react fast enough - they have a slight delay - just enough to lose the shot (ie., when a whale breaches.)Originally posted by: GTaudiophile
Corky, the D30 and D60 are regarded by most to be part of Canon's line of "professional" SLR cameras. The G2/G3 are "prosumer" cameras, fitted between the "pro" D30/D60 cameras and the "consumer" S- and A-series of cameras. So, my statement is still correct: Canon has yet to offer a CMOS sensor to their "prosumer" line. Talk about nit-picking, though![]()
