Canon G2 for cheap

A friend of mine is looking to trade up digital cameras from a Canon G2 to a 10D or something. Anyway, he is looking to unload that old G2. I think he is asking like 200 for it.

So, should I get it?

I am currently using an Olympus D460Z, which by all accounts is a great little camera, especially considering its age, but I have been looking for a replacement. I am torn between trying to get something pocket sized versus getting something that can take a better quality picture.
 
I had the G2 and it was an awesome camera. I did eventually upgrade to the G3. $200 doesn't sound to bad, I would still see if he'll settle for $150. Check the camera out for your self, take some pics and play with it first. It's a great camera for almost any situation. Good luck!
 
The G2 will be a huge improvement over your D460Z. For $200 it will be difficult to find something better.
