Out of stock at Dell, been out of stock since 3/6, and I believe NEW orders won't be shipping until at least April.

My Dell order for 7 Canon G2s, placed on 3/4 when the cameras were in stock, still hasn't shipped.

Thanks for the link though...if my Dell order ever does ship, the PM will save another $434 ($611-$549=$62x7=$434).

What the heck do you do with 7 G2's? Only thing I can think of is Ebay them?

I called AMEX and a CSR said they limit the PM to two identical items on single order. Have never tested it.

Regarding BVG and multiples...

I bought 6 Ipaq 3635s from Radio Shlock back in December. I received BVG checks for all 6 of them...plus another BVG check for another Ipaq 3635 from Staples in November...plus another check from Buyer Assurance, LOL. I also remember receiving 3 checks around September/October for the Olympus 64MB SmartMedia Cards from BVG...and 3 from Webloyalty for a mess-up...and another one from Buyer Assurance. Damn, now that I think of it, I owe these people some serious money :Q

>>>($611-$549=$62x7=$434).
How did you get it for $611? I thought it was 799 - 10% = 719 at Dell?<<<

When I ordered on March 4th, they were still accepting the 15% off coupons from Fat Wallet, in addition to the 10% 🙂

The AMEX blue program is not run that closely...I PM'ed a HD for $199 to $169 and I got a check for..you guessed it...$169. GO AMEX!!!

<< ...and you promptly reported their error >>

Good point Alan. I think it's clear, and this is in the category of "if the shoe fits, wear it", that there are people here who really enjoy finding a bargain, and there are also people here who enjoy taking advantage of the system. Abusing the Amex price match is a good example. It will disappear soon for us all.

I suppose this is just a fact of life and human nature, still it's a shame.

Yahoooooo!!!! I was going to call my contact at D-E-L-L today and decided to check my order status online. It appears that there has been some progress :Q ...

"Sku: 479392 Quantity: 7
Description: Powershot G2 4.0MP 3X Optical Zoom Handh
Tracking Number: 1Z18xxxxxxxxxxxxxx
Serial Number: 2143xxxxxxxx
Serial Number: 2143xxxxxxxx
Serial Number: 2143xxxxxxxx
Serial Number: 2143xxxxxxxx
Serial Number: 2143xxxxxxxx
Serial Number: 2143xxxxxxxx
Serial Number: 2143xxxxxxxx"

My original estimated ['worst case'] ship date was 3/26/02, today. Looks like they just sent the paperwork to UPS today.

I too also pricematched multiple identical items. I purchased 4 Nikon Coolpix 5000 and 5 Canon G2s. I pricematched the 4 Nikon cameras with no problem. I just got the 4 checks the other day. Also just read on $atwallet that the Best Value Gaurantee will be no longer available as of May 1st.:|

The biggest problem with the stress crack is that Canon might pull that "ooh, this looks like it was droppped", ergo out of warranty.

>>>justincase, exactly how much money do you MAKE a year doing stuff like this???<<<

Trillion$ :Q

Actually...nothing. It has all been going towards the payoff of a huge amount of debt, which I am almost done with, after 7 years of being mired in it.

<< Finally got delivery of the Canon G2s. Only took D-E-L-L 3 1/2 weeks - impressive turnaround time :Q >>

Turnaround would probably be a lot better if there were fewer people ordering seven cameras to sell on eBay. Sheesh.
