Actually, this looks to be a pretty decent deal. You can get just $200 off the printer so it's just $120.

Or you can get $200 off the printer and $200 off a New Canon SLR.

Good deal. For those who don't know, a quick word of caution re: ink: Canon is (and has been for more than a year now) giving away the (admittedly amazing) Pro9000 printer with camera purchases because the ink costs a FORTUNE over time, and the printers are known to get fussy with anything but Canon's ink. If you're in the market for a camera/printer like this, you probably already knew that, but just in case you didn't...

I haven't looked for a recent update, but Consumer Reports did a study a few years back and determined that price per print that Canon ink in an iPixma printer was both one of the best qualities and cheapest. They found that off brand ink tended to be thinner and thus use more ink per page. Enough to ending up costing more.

yup. inkjet printers are a ripoff. especially ones that dont like generic ink. i know canon makes great quality prints, but walgreens makes them better and youll never have to worry about clogged heads.

and for the other 90% of your printing needs, thank god for cheap laser printers
