Heaven knows I would like to buy the top of the line. Not in the budget. IMO, if you are going to charge thousands of dollars for any camera, it should have basic protection against the elements. There is no excuse for it.

Then get Nikon D2h for $2000 (if you still can find one) or under if used.


Another interesting announcement is actually the 24-105mm f/4 L IS USM.
Should make a decent portrait zoom if the quality & bokeh hold up.

Who cares about 12.8 megapixels, it's a FULL FRAME sensor!

At $3200, though, I suspect I won't be seeing one any time soon. :(
