Canon DSLR Users: Anyone ever sent a lens back for repair?

If so, I would love to know your experience.

I succeeded in dropping both my EFS 10-22 and EF 24-105 while in Germany. They fell out of my (unzipped) camera bag onto concrete about 4" below. I am sending them back to Canon tomorrow.

How long did it take for them to repair?
Were you pleased with the repair job?
