I was looking at a Canon A80 digital camera a while back, but I no longer seem to see that one around. What has replaced that model in the Canon line? The A85?

What is recommended as a comparable camera to the A80?

The A85 is the direct replacement, but it no longer has the movable screen. The A95, on the other hand does have that screen and is 5MP

I have an A80... and I'm telling you, the moveable screen is a key feature.

The A85 is a replacement for the A75 (which replaced the A70)

The A95 is a replacement for the A80 - same size sensor, bigger than the A85/75/70

Sony V1. Memory stick is only like 10 bucks more than SD ( got enough of them in black friday) and the extra battery is 9 bucks from ebay (works like a charm). Last week it was on sale or 250bucks.

What other Canon models are recommended?

MemoryStick is garbage, too much money for some stupid propeitary format. Besides, the Canon A-series uses CF anyway.
