Canon A75 owners - Question for you all

The good news: I bought an A75.

The bad news: It makes a fairly different sound than my A60 when focusing and zooming. The A60 makes a more high pitched clickity sound. The A75 makes a bit of a deeper, muffled click sounded.

Is that normal? The difference makes me take pause to wonder, so I thought I'd ask.

Thanks, guys!

I have the A80, and I think you do mean the digital sounds, which you can change, what is happening when it makes a mechanical sound?

reading comprehension isn't your strong suit isn't it?

Zooming or focusing...

I have a sound file of the two cameras now. First the A60, then the A75. Anyone want to host or even interested to hear it? I could send by email.

I'm concerned because a) it's used, and b) it's a gift for my girlfriend.

I have the A75, and yeah I notice the clicky sound when it is focusing. I haven't had any previous digital camera's but I noticed in the store the A85 made the same sound.

Quick question for you, can you get any sort of clear pictures out of this camera at night or in low light situations?
Check out this picture I took at 1024x768 Super Fine quality

Its blurry as hell and there was actually quite a bit of light. On that shot I was using the 'night' shooting mode. I tried Auto first, but it looked about the same or worse.

The blurriness is caused by the exposure time being too long and camera moving. The night shooting mode probably increased the exposure time more than it needed to be.

Otherwise, the increased exposure time means the picture will have more "noise" due to the electrical nature of the camera. It sucks, but it's a problem with digital cameras in general.
