[*]No RAW support (JPG artifacting is annoying as hell, and it's hard to judge the white balance on a rinky dink LCD screen) :| :|
[*]Tripod mount is not centered under the lens (makes for sloppy panoramas)
[*]BASTARD CAMERA DOESNT AUTO ROTATE!!!! :|:|:|:|:|:|:|:|:|

Don't get me wrong, I still love this camera, especially for the price I paid for it (thx dell) but I just though anybody considering an A70 should know about the flaws. Post more flaws that you found if you have an A70.

I'm actually tempted to give my A70 to my sister and purchase an S35 or S45 just for the RAW support. :(

Yeah, i've seen that flaw, but it doesn't appear on the final images so i dont care. :p
I mainly remember it when there was a bright light source behind my subject.

- in the photpgraphy world there is something called bracketing. Usually its taking different exposures and settings of the same shot. When the photographer goes to develop the film, they have several things to choose for. The only handicap is really taking a few shots on a rolll and using them again. Now, for the point and shoot crowd, it's even easier, because digital shows instant access and most have a huge memory cards. SO. ..... take alot of shoots and max out that card.

Have you tried the tripod? i don't understand the problem here. All you gotta do is swivel the head around and your good to go.

It's a lot easier with RAW, especially with action shots that are hard to capture >1 time.

Think about rotation, and what happens when the lens is off of the center.

Get the S45 or S50. I used the S45 for a while, that is one sweet camera. The A70 feels a little flimsy by comparison.

I love how that sliding thing slams into the lens housing each time you want to turn it off ;)

Slams?
Huh
You gotta push the slider into the lens housing to make it retract.

What model?
