I have a Canon A40 and a Canon A70. Haven't had a chance to play with the A70 yet though and I'm probably gonna sell my A40, great little camera. Canon makes pretty good digital cameras IMHO.

I have one. Great little cam. Wish I had just a little more $$ when i bought it, would've gotten the A70. Just regretting it now cuz I just bought a i850 printer :(

But other than that gripe, it's great. I got some NiMH's and a 256mb CF card for it. 300+ pics at max setting :) Small, easy to take with me, and the pictures come out great!

I asked Rossman about the A60 a couple weeks ago and he said to wait and get the A70, it is much better.

It's "much better" IF you need the additional resolution, and the VGA video clips.

I for one, can count on one hand how many times I've used the mpeg mode on any of my cams, past or present.

They're both great cams, but if you're not going to use the (2) additional features, the only difference between them is the $$.
