Canon A510 or Olympus D595

Trying to decide on a new digital camera and its between these 2. One has more megapixels other has better zoom. Canons usually have a better lense tho right? Or if theres another place u can point me were i might find the answer i would appreciate it

I would choose Canon, but that model Olympus seems to be good. . .

Olympus has great lenses too.

Personally I like cannon but steve has good reviews..

I've also been looking to pick up the Canon A510. Anyone have this camera? Any uploaded pic samples? For $174 at newegg, seems like a good price for what you're getting.

Comparing the Canon A510 against the Olympus D595. The A510 wins hands down. The D595 has atrocious image quality.

This is coming from someone who up until a couple of months ago had been using an Olympus D40. I have yet to find a non-slr camera that really has much better picture quality than it.

Look at the pictures, they look horrible at full zoom.
