With their updated PM policy I doubt you can do that and get the rebate/discount coupon. Clearly states that in the new policy.

Well, I wasn't trying to create something to rip off Staples. I was trying to post a hot deal as it was. Seems to be a lot of that going around right now. Granted, if they offer something for said price etc. I will take them up on it....but trying to find a naive employee and rip them off.....what is the difference in that and taking the price sticker off one item and putting it on another? It is theft.

Yup you usually can't find anymore "stupid" employees. They all go to the manager first before they try to use PM and coupons. And anyways, it's good enough with the coupon and gift card.

Don't worry, those employees that have been advised to check with the manager will quit, and new ones will be hired that haven't been made aware of the PM and coupon issues due to expediant hiring paterns. Staples isn't considered a career for most of the 19-somethings (age) that work there.
