This board clearly supports USB 2.0, and the enhanced USB controller exists in the device manager, so why do I have to run my external HDD at an amazing speed of 1 MB/s?
Yes, and USB 2.0 is enabled in the BIOS. And I tried both XP and 7 on this system, still the same problem.
It really makes no sense at all...The drive can run on USB 2.0 just fine on my C2D machine.
Since this board was immensely popular 3 years ago, maybe some of you had solved this problem before.
