cannot update email in profile

can't update my email address in my profile. i keep getting the "you don't have permission..." error. found a few other threads that looked like they would help, but didn't since i have no firewall to turn off... thanks for advice...

What email are you trying to change to? Check the FAQ for banned ones to see if that is your problem.
