Ran into a strange problem on a friend's computer. I've never encountered this problem before but basically typing a key twice in a row has been disabled. I can type 'DSD' but I wouldn't be able to type 'DDS' or 'DSS'. I updated all the virus definitions, and scanned the computer using their installed Norton and some of the online scanners. I'm running a SpyBot search right now.

Anyone have experience with this problem before? Thanks! Already tried using a different keyboard.

check your accessibility options. It might have been set to ignore repeated keystrokes within a certain period of time. (assuming you are using 2k or XP)

Heheh thanks guys! I was running Search and Destroy and upon reboot, I saw the accessibility options icon in the task bar. Double clicked it, unchecked the box and bam... everything is good again.
