Cannot see another pc on a home network.

Hi, I have a couple PCs on a home network all with the IPs of 192.168.0.100~105.
One of the PCs (192.168.0.101) suddenly become unreachable by other PCs and it also cannot see other PCs anymore. The PC however is still "ping-able" from other machines in command prompt, and it gets to the Internet still fine.
I usually just type the IP directly in an address bar to get to it, (e.g. //192.168.0.101) and that works every single time in the past few years.
All the other remaining ones are seeing each other fine.

I re-ran the home & small office wizzard in Windows, but it was no help.

Any ideas?

Thanks!

P.S. There is also no issue to remote desktop into that PC. Some file sharing capabilities must have been shut off on that PC by accident because //192.168.0.101 does not work. I already have a check mark besides "simple file sharing" though.

Successful Sharing involves some general consideration in Network settings, http://www.ezlan.net/sharing.html

As well as specific adjustment of each computer according to what it is allowed to be shared.

You keep posting that,I will try again but I am confused as to why that computer cannot even see it's own shared folders, trying to connecting to that computer from another one says that it is inaccessable when I type in the path however ping works but that is it.It cannot see the workgroup at as it just says maybe I don't have permission to view that resource.

You are better of stop using the Wizard and learn how to configure manually.

The more you run the wizard the less is your chance to solve the problem.

After i installed SP3, the problem occurs for me to daily work with SOHO nwetworking solution to connect me to the entire network. I s there any issues with SP3
