Cannot right-click inside of Chrome browser

I currently have Version 90.0.4430.212 (Official Build) (64-bit) of Google Chrome installed on a Linux Mint 18.3 base with a Cin. 3.6.7 and 4.15.0.142-generic kernal. If I try to right-click on anything on or in this browser window, like if I wanted to correct a typo, RC on a tab, etc., it freezes up the application for about ten seconds. I can't do anything about it and any normal functionality that typically comes from right-clicking is no available. I do not experience this in any other application, not even FF 88.0.

Any ideas?
