Cannot map drives

My apologies for reposted this in OT, but I kinda need the answer and know that no one really go to Networking on the weekend, so....

I have two VM images that I can successfully ping, but cannot map to any shares that I created on those VM images. I tried custom network, NAT, nothing works. Between the VM images themselves, I can map the shares fine, just not from the host to the VM images.

They're all on workgroup, I tried to logon with the VM credentials, no luck either.

You guys have any ideas? Thanks.

What kind of networking did you choose when you set up those images?

You need to choose "bridged". You can change it after you set it up, just double-click on Ethernet.

Thanks for the suggestion, I thought that would be logical, but no dice. I can ping them, but can't reverse ping (firewalls disabled). When trying to map to it, with the proper credential, just said "No network found".

Silly question, but you made sure to enable File and Print Sharing enabled on both the VM's and your own workstation?
